to me, Christina, JackieNice woman, but the Goldendoodle sounds like a lot. Bo was rehomed twice for counter surfing, eating food out of little kids hands type of thing. She ‘walks him a specific times’ because he’s excitable. She walks him very early in the morning or late at night. He knocked her over. They have been to professional training and he has swam at the facility to tire him out.
Kid has seasonal allergies, Grandmom has a king Charles and he is allergic. I reminded her that terriers are to the ground so the Airedale would bring in pollen, grass, dirt that son may be allergic to. suggested she meet an Airedale (told her about the FB groups) and see if son can play with an ADT and see reaction.VET: N/M, UTD, see 9/15/19 and 8/29/20, no ER visits for Bites, wounds or anything.
She’s lovely but I’m not sure it would be a good match due to son’s allergies and that she doesn’t really have control of Bo.
April 5, 2021 at 7:50 pm in reply to: Christie Crawford & Marlin Huddleston, Clarksville, TN, ADT exp., 0 kids, 0 pets #271914/5/21: Contacted Jacke via telephone today to surrender Landry. She got him from a private adopter after going through ARG app process and not being patient to wait for an Airedale.
She now wants to surrender Landry and must have inquired about adopting an ARG dog. This is an absolute ‘NO”. She has been moved to “Cold Day In Hell”
4/2/21: Called VCA for vet reference. Katlin all up to date Duke is and they would certainly adopt to them.
4/2/21: Talked with Ryan (female). Adopted Duke from a co-worker last year. Duke is neutered and good with other dogs. Goes to day care and has a pet walker from days Tryan and her husband are at work.
Bruce is not for them because of their fencing being on 4ft.
Vet reference and HV is next step.

April 2, 2021 at 4:11 pm in reply to: 2021 Charlie, M/N, Tucker GA, NO CHILDREN, NO DOGS (aka Sherlock from 2012) #271524/2/21: Charlie was evaluated by Sean of “Follow My Lead” 703-283-4065
Charlie is an affectionate dog that appears to have had training and knows sit, down, heel and walking in heel. He did not pull and was excited ( teeth chattering) when encoutered another dog at the park. The other dog was very excited and on a flexi. Sean stepped off the path with Charlie and had Charlie in a sit. The second time he encountered the dog they walked right past it; no issues. Sean was talking to Charlie. He introduced Charlie to a dog in his home and there were typical sniffing but nothing inappropriate.
Sean allowed Charlie rest time. When he was resting Sean called his name but Charlie did not respond. Sean stood near him at the end of the leash, gave a gentle tug on the leash and called his name; Charlie woke with no issues. He was slow to get up, but that is understandable with him having has a lot of exercise and having arthritic hips.
Charlie has separation anxiety and chewed a doorknob at Wendys. He wants to be where his people are. The foster/adopter should work with a trainer to help Charlie deal with separation anxiety and only leave him for very short times (15 minutes) to start and increase duration of time alone gradually. A calming treat may help to navigatie through this process. His separation may be partly due to having been boarded for 3 weeks. He needs to be in a home as soon as possible.
Over all nice dog with great potential in the right home without children.

to Robert, Christina, jcashHello Robert,
We have a 9 yr old female Airedale who is needing to find her new home. She has been with the same person since a pup. About 3 years ago, the man married and a small dog was introduced into the home. Padme (pad-mae) was the only dog and had dad’s undivided attention up until a few years ago, but her new mom is allergic to Padme and they have been unable to resolve this issue.
Padme is a sweet, adult-oriented, 70 pound, exuberant girl looking for the love of a new mom, dad, or both. She has not spent time with children and, as a result, they make her nervous.
She has always been possessive of both food and toys. This was not a problem until a new pup came along. Although Padme does not share well, this has not escalated into a fight but has been limited to loud vocalization and teeth showing. Padme is an inside dog who loves car and grooming. She has always been crate trained and will just sit in her crate with the door open when the family is home. She tends to get anxious when left alone outside of the crate. She is not a fan of other dogs and will need some work with leash walking again. She is a healthy girl and will be due for vaccines and heartworm testing in July 2021.Please let me know if you would like to talk about making Padme a part of your family.

to me, ChristinaLovely family, has adopted thru ARG before like Christine said. They haven’t moved, 9 year old Riley (ADT) would love a friend
They walk several times a day, very active, the dogs go where we go.
Great vet reference.
Told her we don’t have many in rescue currently. But she understood and wanted to put her paperwork in early.Good people
3/30/2021 Adopted by Nancy Merritt, 941 HUNT DRIVE
HUGER, SC 29450. Adopted fee paid. Contract sentMarch 30, 2021 at 2:44 pm in reply to: Nancy Merritt, Huger, SC, ADT exp., horses, 0 kids, 0 hr alone #271283/30/2021: Adoption fee received.
3/29/2021: Addie Adams has been moved to status of do not adopt. It is apparent Charlie did not receive the appropriate care for dx of thyroid issues, pain from him issues or positive Ehrlichia with not offered or declined.
3/29/2021: In boarding since 3/17/2021. Charlie has been moved from Pet Paradise in Atlanta to Cumming, GA to Cumming Veterinary Clinic, under Dr. Martinez care, and will be boarded through Thursday. Thursday Wendy will pick him up and keep him at her house overnight and her trainer Sean will work with him on Friday.
Goal: Is he adoptable into the right situation.
After reading the veterinary records there seems to have been a lack of care for Charlie. There is no way to tell from the records if the owner declined services and medications or the vet did not recommend.
1. Ehrlichia positive since 2019; no evidence of treatment with doxycycline.
2. overwight by at least 10 pounds
3. low thyroid not comfirmed by T3/TSH panel
4. Not maintained on anti-inflammatoriesPat Hairston

to Jackie, ChristinaTalked to Dr. Martinez at Cumming Vet Clinic.
Charlie does not like being restrained and was muzzled but not sedated.
Overall in good condition, blood work from earlier this year is good for his age; painful in hips, right more than left. He weighed in at 88 lbs, down slightly from Feb.
Vet could not check teeth due to muzzle but recommends a dental in the near future.
Moving forward with a T3/TSH panel, putting him on Duramax for 14 days and then see how he is doing and doxycycline for the Ehrlichia since there is no evidence of treatment in the prior vet notes. Will also HW test since it has been almost 6 months since last test and no evidence of him being on preventative; will be started on hartgard. Likely some allergies from the condition of his skin, but again will wait to address.
