Leslie has found another dog, and should be removed from the pending list.
From Julie 9/22/20: Looking for a female mate for her 2 year old Giant Schnauzer. Never met an airedale, no experience with Airedale at all.
Has taken her Schnauzer to group training, is aware of a one on one trainer in the area if needed. Realized she had to teach the Schnauzer who was boss!
Travel with dogs, in a Chevy Equinox. Big SUV
Homes home for potty breaks or has a sitter stop by.
Daughter does the grooming.
Chinchillas are caged and only takes them out into her bathroom when she is cleaning the cage.Jessie is 11 or 12 years old, Emerald is 2 – wants playmate for Emerald. Is used to having 3 dogs.
Vet check all good, Emerald is late on her shots due to vet being busy. due on 9/11/20 Spayed.
Jessie UTD, Labs, HW and fecal -, only unscheduled visit was for skin issues.
Zoey – Deceased, always UTD, died of neurological issues.I would recommend a Home Visit.

to meHas owned a Cocker Spaniel and a 3 legged lab. Lives on a lake and would like to walk off least eventually. 4 adult children, no one living with her and husband now.
She has woods that lead to the lake, no fence, 4 acres, take dog for boat rides, it’s been 3-4 years since having a pet.Asked questions regarding health, stomach issues, temperament with other dogs, do you need to have 2 dales.
Seemed very nice and willing to educate her dogs. I kept stating how ‘hard they are to train’.
She is also looking at wheaten terriers and vizsla’s. So if we wait she’ll probably move on. She did ask about BB, and she wants a 5-6 year old. no super young dogs.

Lives with Amy and Tyler Patrick and their 2 small dogsChris Dixon is his best friend (Walter called him brother, mom said friend – cultural thing?), Kyra and Leelan – kids, they have a boxer who is very sweet.
He’s 6’5″ tall and the fenced in yard is taller than him. Dad had Airedale from Walter’s age of 10 to about 17 years old. Took the dog every where on the farm, to the lake etc. Good memories for him.
He had no idea how much monthly costs would be, suggested 80 is probably a monthly amount for food and treats. Suggested he call around to vet and ask prices for vet office visits vs illness visits, vs vaccines.
Spw Mom, she is able to watch the 3 yr old daughter, able to get around. She explained it’s one big house they all share. Talked about crate training. Used the words Protect the 3 yr old. I don’t know if it’s a country culture or if they live in a bad neighborhood. She also mentioned the 2 Airedales her and her husband had were very protective of them. After husband died, Sheena had to be given up and they gave her to a family. No more contact.
Spw Tyler, has 2 mixed breed chihuahuas, 2 cats. retired military, met over xbox became fast friends, Walter had ‘an issue’ in TX and he was invited to live with Tyler for the last 3-4 years.
Maybe a home visit would make it clear that this should be a no. I think it’s a moving target situation that a rescue may not acclimate too.
9/2/2020: Offered 10 mo old Mia and declined. The application moved to Never Adopted; just don’t think her heart is ready.

Has owned 2 Airedales, one was a rescue who did not pass the AKC certification only due to eating assertiveness. (I don’t know if she actually tried to take the test).
Both traveled with them, which is very important to her. She also wants a socialized dog who CAN pass the AKC certification.
Several acres in back yard, cannot be fenced due to water and trees. She walked her dogs 2-3 times in the morning and 1 afternoon. She uses a GPS tracker which is kind of like a Fit bit for dogs. She aimed for 90 minutes a day.
Lives with husband and Ramon – who watches the house and dog when away.
Moved to TN from Hawaii about 3 years ago.
Clarksville Animal hospital, end of life care due to lymphoma and yearly wellness exams for 3 years.
She is also looking at breeders.I think I will set up a home visit with Connie Gorgol. Pat, if you have her phone or email, could you pass it to me.
