Safety:

Regular safety – please ensure that you are aware of Pearl when opening car doors, transferring her from person to person, always making sure a hand is on the leash. Unless necessary, remain in car until transport transfer occurs; when opening car doors, ensure that the leash is secured by hand on the leash; when allowing potty breaks – ensure that collar/leash(s) are tight for no escape; be aware of surroundings – even a plastic bag in the wind may spook a dog in unfamiliar settings. Do not let her off leash at any time. Double Leashing is preferred if you have a slip lead to bring along for your leg of the trip.
Do not feel the need to walk Pearl outside if you arrive early. Sitting in the car will be fine for her. (If you have a water bowl, please bring it so she can take a water sip between cars to keep him hydrated).

PLEASE USE YOUR CHILD LOCKS so that Pearl cannot accidentally open a window or door! (It has happened!)
Pearl is at boarding in Marietta and George will pick Pearl up.

4/13/2023 Boarding at Dogma, Symrna GA.

4/11/23: Spoke with Brady Born. They have had Dani about 4 months. Previous owner brought her into vet in Dalton GA to be PTS. Her wife brought the dog home.

Dani is crate trained, up to date on vaccines (record to be emailed). Good with small dog (they have a 4 lb chi that she overwhelms) maybe 20-30 lbs. Not recommended for cats or chickens. Good with children although overwhelms them when she jumps on them.

I reached out to Robin at Dogma to boarding and will connect Brady and Robin to arrange Dani to go to Dogma. Brady was OK with driving her to Dogma.

HI Marci – Do not worry. We’ve got it. Pearl is safe. She was dropped off at a daycare. We are covered.

I responded to Michael 3 or 4 times this morning to let him know I was working on something. I was responding – not sure if he thought I was not Airedale Rescue or what.

Please know we’ll find a home for Pearl. Your 5 weeks with her gave us such valuable insight on her and we know she’s a sweetie.

NOr really sure what happened with Michael and Pearl overnight. It does not matter 🙂

Sorry you got exposed to some of this internal stuff with them!!!
