          Hello Cindy,

We have to find a new location for Boone/Jack asap. He is the older male Airedale that was in boarding for months. The Browne’s practically begged us for him and Boone had issues from the beginning. A lot of his the Browne’s.

We had engaged The Gratefull Dog to work with them. I can send you notes from her work with them. seems like a lot the issues were the Browne’s not setting boundaries and doing what they were told to do.

Is there any chance you might be able to take him and work with him on the reactivity while we look for a new home.

          Thanks for thinking about this.

From Emily ‘She did. They are not keeping him
The attack is their fault as he was not leashed

But the day before he took husband down going after that dog

He’s too big and strong for them.
He will need dog reactive work. As welll as next owner needs to know and be strong enough to control him
Fenced yard would be a plus’

This came in about 8 this am from Shelly Browne. I just can’t…

We had an incident the other day with Jack attacking a neighbor dog walking by. It is John’s reluctance to keep Jack on a leash. I’m afraid this would not be an isolated incident. It’s hard to keep him contained at all times. He will slip out and wander away.
He needs to be in a less dense area. If we had a farm he would be safer.

?? So are they getting a farm?!!

Sunshine crossed the Rainbow Bridge today around 2 pm. We will miss this beautiful feisty girl. She stole our hearts in just 90 days 💔♥️☀️. She declined rapidly in 72 hrs. I slept on the floor with her most of last night. She could not stand, would not eat, shallow abdomen breathing and pale gums. It was time.
Our hearts are shattered. She was so easy to love.

7/14/23 Owner changed mind and did not give Bentley to ARG. Don’t really know what happened. Suspect dog given
                  to someone the groomer knows.

He doesn’t seem too forthcoming as when I called his reference it ended up being his wife. I asked her to contact him re: a need for non relative reference as he wasn’t my responding to my attempts to reach him.
Also, the wife in describing their 5 y/o sounds like he has some emotional development issues. My gut says that they’re a “no go”. I can see a dog coming back to us. He works full time. Said he was now employed as a civilian. Wife says he’s going to retire soon from the military…so which is it???!!!! She’s active duty & home 1x/mo. with her Jack Russel. I just don’t think it’s a good place for one of our ‘dales. What do you think?

You would have to be willing to drive to York SC to do an introduction based on the fosters availability. We don’t often do not have an chance for an introduction before an adoption.

If the dogs did well together, you could return to Wilmington with River. River’s adoption fee is $400.

She is currently not spayed and will be required to be spayed which ARG will pay for. The adoption agreement would state such.

                                  Hi Paul-

We have a 8 month old female Airedale in Foster care in SC. We got her about a. month ago and her name is River.

She has some GI issues when we first got her but we vetted her and switched her food to Purina Pro sensitive stomach and skin lamb which she is doing well on. Like any young Airedale she is energetic and needs a dog to play with. The foster has 2 old dogs, one very senior, and River is just too much.

I can contact you with the foster
mom so you can chat with her.

Here are her details. Photos attached.
