The owner gave her to another rescue the day after she submitted surrender form. No longer an ARG dog.

We still have your application so no need to resend just let us know if you are at in the same location and any household changes like new pets, kids, etc.
Are you now interested in adopting? We had you in an “any job” category and I could move you to ‘waiting for a spare Dale’ if you are looking to adopt.
Hope all is well!

to me
Happy Sunday Pat,
Here’s an update for Kipper for the first 3 days. We have been calling him Buddy because he really is a very sweet and happy boy, and doesn’t remind us of a kipper fish. He’s very playful, but not aggressive. He loves to run fast circles around our yard, so he needs space or lots of walks. He’s sleeping at night in his crate without protesting, and roams most of the house in the daytime. I would say he is housebroken, he has only had one accident in the house, and that was his first day with us. He loved playing with our grandkids, 4 and 6, and they loved him! But, he might knock a toddler over though, he’s an older puppy really. He tries to get in your lap, and loves to lick your face. Also, does the typical Airedale nibbling, and leaning against you. Ha He gets along with the other dogs, and tries to play gently with the 8 pound dachshund. He needs a little basic training for manners, but in 3 days he has already learning to sit! I have had no luck introducing him to the C-A-T. He tries to sniff him out as soon as he goes outside, I’m sure he would chase him if he could, but the cat is separated outside on end of the porch. Not that he couldn’t jump the barrier, but I try to hold his collar and allow him to look at the cat hoping he will eventually ignore him. I have attached some new pictures.I hope you have a good week. Talk to you soon.

Since River was just spayed, the hormones levels are driving the male nuts and River needs to find a new foster location.
Sally Miller will foster beginning Tuesday, 10/31. Christina working transport magic to get River back to Atlanta area.

hi – sounds like it happened recently that she added a male. Peg has a huge heart and I’m sure this stray boy dog is a lucky one to land with her. We will get Liberty out of the home so that it does not drive him nuts!

We would not have approved her home unless the dog is a show dog.

to me, Christina, Jackie, Jo-Anne, Kelly
Morning, all,I did a bit of digging on both this woman’s business site and the Sit Means Sit training method she uses and both are very e-collar focused, using it as the standard training method rather than as a last ditch effort after nothing else worked.
I also heard back from my friend Laurel, who is a trainer. She was not familiar with this woman but also explored a bit and came to the same conclusion I did.
I suggest we decline her. Training based on fear is not good training and since we don’t have real/first hand knowledge of her and how she uses the e-collar, I think our dogs would be best served to not be placed with her.
Sigh, I miss It’s Me Or The Dog with Victoria Stilwell that was (is??….I don’t have cable anymore) on Animal Planet. All people see now is ignorant Cesar Milan and his bullying.
