Jackie,
You & I spoke a while back about my Jasper. Not doing well adjusting my job transfer. I was told tou have been going thru cancer treatments. I am so sorry to hear about that & ive been praying over you. I lost several family members just before Corona. Since Corona began I have been struggling to keep my head above water. I then lost my father, the last of my family. A series of major blows have come my way since Corona including losing my home. It breaks my heart to say this but its more about my own personal survival and that Jasper deserves to be in a heqlthy environment & family who has their life intact. I lost my family with about a 1-2 year span, then Corona virus, job loss, job transfer, and I lost my home. I need help placing Jasper. I don’t want to loose him obvipusly because i love him and he is quite beneficial to my hearing loss but I cannot find a place to live that I can afford with him & as much as I have to work now to rebuild my life. I just cannot keep my boy. And I don’t know how to let go of my very last member of my family, Jasper. Oh, God this hurts so much to say this. I need help 5/22/2021 From Michele to Jackie on FB. Hes up to date on all his shots as of today & he is special needs with his hip dysplasia and major allergies & autoimmune issues. He needs a special home. I asked Christine Prangie to contact me but haven’t heard from her. 615-293-2050. Its going to kill both Jasper & I to be separated. He will be 7 years in 1st of October. I have all his papers and health records. He cannot take steriods or becomes instantly incontinent. And has daily medications to keep him healthy.

to me, ChristinaHi, Pat,
I had a great chat with Yvonne Wood, as well as her reference, her groomer, and her vet.
Vito, their current dog is up to date on all shots and he gets his monthly flea/tick/HW meds regularly from Chewy.com. He was neutered on 12/1/16. The groomer said he comes in regularly, is at a good weight, and always looks well cared for, with no issues with ears, no matted hair, etc. Her reference said the Woods are ‘great owners’ and confirmed the dog gets daily walks, regular grooming, lots of care, and goes to doggy day care with her dog, with whom Vito is good buddies. Vito, she said, ‘is great with other dogs.’
Yvonne is a ‘hard-core’ Airedaler, having first seen an Airedale at an AKC show as a child. Vito is from a breeder she found through the AKC breeder list. The family has a large yard with an aluminum (faux wrought iron) fence. Google Earth shows the yard is clearly large, although the satellite shot must be fairly old because it doesn’t show the fencing.
Yvonne told me when they walk it’s generally 1/2 to 1 mile walk, 2x/day. When it’s hot he wears a cooling vest and/or they keep it short; if it’s too hot and Vito doesn’t want to walk, she listens to him and they don’t go. Vito gets natural bones and she likes to give him treats in a game-type toy so he gets mental stimulation. Vito was chipped as soon as they got him.
Although they asked for a 2-6 YO, they would be open to a younger dog. They would like a dog relatively close in age to Vito. No sex preference.
Highly recommend the next step of a home visit.

to Julie, me, Christina, JackieHi, ladies,
I had a great visit with Sheryl Killoran on Wednesday. Sean wasn’t able to be there but I had actually met him and had a chance to talk with him at Wendy’s wedding and had been very impressed with him as we had talked about training since he had trained so many of Wendy’s dogs.
The family has a great big backyard that is fully fenced by a 6′ wood fence that meets board to board so no spots where a dog could escape. Currently, the family has a labradoodle who is super sweet and laid back. Sheryl told me they often have dogs come to the house for training – and to stay for a day or longer, including Wendy’s dogs, which Wendy herself had mentioned to me.
Wendy holds the Killorans in very high regard. Sean trained Jagger and continues to work with both Georgia Skye and Jayne. The Killorans are both very dog savvy and it’s clear their training is positive. The dog who ends up with them will be very happy and very lucky!

I did. I was thinking. Most of it sounds ok, except the digging of large holes. I’ve had the yard professionally landscaped, and hole digging is not an option as I’ve spent thousands on getting my yard just right. I’ll have to think more about it.
Thanks,
Thomas
