Subject: Airedale Home Visithi Bonnie
My name is Christina and I am a volunteer with Jo Anne at Airedale Rescue Group. First, I apologize for the delay about arranging a home visit for you. I recently moved and I missed keeping up w/ the emails of who I asked to help to home visit you. The couple is an ARG adopter and live in the Greenville area. It was completely my fault – I missed the email that they said yes, they’d come to home visit!
The couple is Robin and Don and they have an ARG ‘dale. They will come and meet you in person and have the home visit. Next step, I’ll email introduce both of you so that you and they can determine a time for the home visit.
Thank you for your patience in getting an Airedale to you!

Subject: Home Visit – Airedale Rescue Grouphi Justin and Beth & Marci –
I wanted to introduce all of you to each other. Marci is an ARG volunteer in the Charlotte area – she’s also an Airedale owner, ARG foster mom and lives close to you all. Marci will meet all of you for a home visit as the final step in the adoption process. I will leave it to all of you to scheule the home visit. We do ask that everyone in the family be at the home visit when Marci comes over. I know that’s hard with teens, working etc – so if its a weekend, just make sure its a time that all are home. Thanks and let me know if any questions!

March 6, 2023 at 7:47 pm in reply to: 23-07 LILLY (nee Birdie-Sammi), Smyrna, GA -Witness Protection Program Dog #30340They picked up Sammi on Saturday from Dogma. Regina purchased flea/tick preventative but when she got home realized they gave her wrong size/dosage. Family took Sammi on a hike in northern AL. As they were hiking they kept seeing Eagles flying over them and they renamed Sammi to Birdie. HIke went well – passed several dogs and Birdie does not acknowledge them. An off leash dog ran up to her and she reacted well. Dad went into wal mart on way home and REgina and daughter sat in car and Birdie got very anxious when he left the car.
Came home to Smyrna and secured the cats upstairs. Birdie slept downstairs on Sat night and when they came downstairs on Sat morning, she had chewed up her dog bed and the cats beds; gone through Regina’s houseplants (digging at them) and chewed some wood work. Regina said it was her fault for not putting her in a crate (which she does not have yet).
Dad and daughter left to go to petsmart for supplies and Birdie was anxious when they left – they left out of separate doors.
Regina will call Chewey to see if she can get name of food that owner was feeding her – she has owners address and name so hopefully she can get the info.March 6, 2023 at 7:47 pm in reply to: 23-07 LILLY (nee Birdie-Sammi), Smyrna, GA -Witness Protection Program Dog #30339They picked up Sammi on Saturday from Dogma. Hi – yes, that’s what i thought on the fence. I figured since they had moved – it would be on a list of projects. I’m fine with them because they plan to leash walk.Christina Prange

Hi Christian
thank you! As suspected, I thought they would pass. Yes the children are a concern. Do they have a fence yet. At one point they did not. I understand they are leash walkers so I’m not too worriedAppreciate your help!

Good afternoon Christina. I’m sorry I did not see this message it went to my spam folder. I just completed the home visit with Matt and his family, everything checks out great! The only concern I have would be his small children. We would have to make sure that he is paired with an Airedale that can tolerate small children. Feel free to give me a call if you have any other questions or need more details. (803)600-9213Sent from my iPhone

Hi Christian – thanks for letting me know that your home visit was delayed. I hope you’re doing ok now? I know you took a COVID test – seems like Covid happens a lot these days nad I hope it was mild.
By any chance did you have time to reconnect with Matt on a Home Visit. Thanks!Christina Prange
