            Hi Pat,

Thank you for letting me know about this girl. Due to the fact that one of my dogs is a dominant bitch, I will need to look for a submissive male as my next Airedale.

Perhaps you recall I had inquired about Trevor. His demeanor and age (as listed in his profile) would have made him the perfect addition to my current household.

I need to with regrets, pass on this current girl.

(After Trevor had already been placed, I found out that I am already an approved ARG adopter. Had I known my approval status, I would have asked for Trevor as soon as his profile was listed.)

Please stay on the lookout for a “Trevor clone” for me.

            Sincere thanks,

            Andrea

                      Meredith and John,

We have a 7 yr old female in GA that was just surrendered. She is with an older couple who can’t manage her any more. They have kept her outside but she is indoors overnight and crated. She is spayed but needs to be updated on shots which ARG will pay for once in a new home. She also needs grooming Her name is Duchess weighs about 70 lbs and is on heartworm prevention.

She is a quiet girl and wants to be with her people. She walks ok on leash but may need some work. She is being fed Diamond Naturals, has no food allergies, likes a little salmon oil on her food and likes chicken feet.

She is located in Blue Ridge GA.

                        Hello,

I have 2 Airedale’s that I need rescued for placement. They are both female, one going on 7 this November and one about the same age. Traveler we’ve had since she was a puppy, Duchess about a year. Traveler is about 70+ pounds with Duchess about 55(I’m guessing)

They are both purebred, with one spayed and one not spayed.

They do not hunt. We have had one since she was a puppy, and one almost a year now. They do not get along with each other at all, & we’ve tried to allow them to co exist but they just aren’t feeling it. Traveler is smart, she needs training most of all. She pulls on her leash, and she’s very strong. Duchess is just scattered all over the place. She was used as a breeder and we tried to help him out, but it’s just too much for us.

My husband and I are both disabled, (81, & 67) and not steady on our feet as we used to be. It’s becoming more and more hazardous for us to keep them, especially as they don’t get along.

We’d prefer them to be the only dog(because we just don’t know how they’d be with other dogs- maybe ok, but we can’t say. They do have a very high prey drive. They’re not aggressive with people- just each other it seems.

If you are aware of anyone legitimate that would give them a loving home, I’d sure appreciate a referral.
