Subject: Home Visit – Airedale Rescue GroupHi Helena & Jill,
Helena
My name is Christina and I am a volunteer with Airedale Rescue Group. I know you talked with Mary last week and the next step in our process is a home visit. I would like to introduce you to Jill who is an ARG volunteer and lives in the Signal Mountain area. Jill and her husband will be the ARG volunteer who you will meet in person for the home visit. I so wish I could do the home visit as I would love to meet your Welsh Terrier! I had a Welshie as a child and still love the breed.Jill & Helena
Please determine a time that is convenient for both of you for a home visit. Of course with COVID safety, our home visits are not what they used to be however we still think they are important to do, just slightly modified. The home visit will be outside only and an opportunity for you to meet in person, see your back yard and fence.Thank you again!

I spoke with Jordan this morning about plans for stray. They have named him Bert. She said that he is one of the best dogs ever. He is basically fully trained. He needs a little work on leash training. He plays really well with her female lab mix. They were outside in fenced yard when I spoke to her playing. He sleeps well at night. Jordan and her husband will drive him tomorrow Sunday to Christine Maclean in Lebanon.Bert is cleaned up. the first finder who found him had him bathed because he had been sprayed by a skunk. Jordan’s husband has brushed him. His hair is long but that’s all.
Jordan asked for a relinquishment form/legal document to show that he is turned over to us so i will send her our surrender form. hollijo14@yahoo.com

Subject: Re: Airedale Rescue Group Foster Help needed for ‘dale in MurfreesboroChristina – I am so sorry to hear about that poor boy. Unfortunately, I am not positioned to help you as I am now living at the beach in Fenwick Island, Delaware with our three year old Airedale Spencer and our 10 Month old Airedale Corally. We moved back up from Franklin about a year ago.
That said, I will check with two friends in Westhaven in Franklin that might be able to help – neither have Airedales but both have rescued many dogs over the years, have fenced in years and knew and liked my Airedales well. Am I correct to presume that he can be placed with another well balanced dog if need be?
Do you know Deb Ciacarelli of Airedale Rescue of the Delaware Valley? Deb.ciancarelli@gmail.com. 609 313 4765 ARDV covers NJ, PA and Delaware and they are super organized, Deb is very energetic and might be able to pitch in on a placement – years ago her predecessor Joey Fineran coordinated a rescue placement out of North Carolina for me when I was living inMaryland. Strictly between us Deb just lost her Airedale Valentine – a big beautiful boy – a few months ago – maybe God has a plan.
I will make some calls and see if I can help!!
Thank you for all the good work you do!
All best, Maureen

Subject: Re: Airedale Rescue Group – home visitChristina
Thank you so much for contacting us, we are thrilled to hear something from Airedale Rescue Group. But unfortunately at this time we must put adopting an Airedale on the back burner for now. We adopted a Lakeland puppy at the beginning of 2021 ( our home was just way to quiet with one dog) and along with our current dog Madie (a 10 year old rescued Welsh terrier), we just don’t have the room to take on another dog.
If are situation should change, we will again try contacting Airedale rescue (rescue is always our first choice and we have rescued three dogs that we have loved dearly).
Thank you again!Kris Thrash
