Requested a payment plan or to have the adoption fee waived. Application closed.

      Good Evening Karlos,

Thank you for applying to adopt an Airedale Terrier from Airedale Rescue Group.

I have reviewed your application. First, Chief is not a good fit for a household with toddlers. Second, Airedale Rescue Group (ARG), as many all breeds rescues, invest significant funds to bring a rescued dog up to date, often having to spay or neuter, and treat for heartworm disease. The adoption fee generally does not cover the costs expended by the rescue. With those factors considered, ARG does not accept a payment plan or waive adoption fees. If an interested adopter cannot pay the adoption fee, then adopting from this rescue is not a good fit.

At this time we are closing your application without further consideration. Thank you for your interest.

      Sincerely,

3/6/2019: Cynthia has had the flu; received message for HV but recovering and will reach out soon.

Vet reference done; good.  Ready for HV.  (Possible for Chief if HV clears).

2/21/19 PM: Cynthia Bex – Nice to chat with and having had to ADT in their lives not a lot she does not know about the bred. Her 11/12 yr old died from kidney failure last September. They have 3 acres which is completely underground fenced. She trained their 8 yr old Airedale on it with a few days when they moved to the property. I will proceed with the vet reference (hopefully tomorrow). And based on that would recommend a home visit. This may be a place for Chief if he is not identified for someone since he was trained on an underground fence.

I will do the veterinary follow-up Monday (hopefully) and base on that would recommend a HV.
