Hi! Wanted to give an update. Saw Sassy attempting to lick Dashers ears today. Play is yet to come. But, they are getting comfy with each other. Dash is very vocal. Uniquely so. Odd for Sassy, but humorous for Jamie and I. Dasher is a very affectionate girl. We love her so much. I am once more so grateful for this group of wonderful people. Thank you for all you do.

I spoke to Kathleen, owner of Peyton and Lincoln. These dogs are from Judy Betzel, a breeder in NC. Kathleen had Airedales growing up and never had a problem with this type of dog. Within 15 min of picking up these 2 dogs she was breaking out in welts. She has to have an inhaler with her when she is near them. They can only be outside or in here basement. She said this is not the way a dogs life should be. Very hard decision but she knows it’s not right. She talked to Judy who endorsed ARG.
She would like them placed together but has come to realization that may not be possible. The dogs are dependent on each other, love each other. They cry when one cannot see the other. They do not like other dogs. She took them to dog park initially and they did fine. Then she did not take them for some time and they had problems. She said now, even walking them she has to cross the road when they see another dog. Does not matter size, they seem aggressive to other dog.
Yes, they are really around 100 lb each.

Hi Christina — I’m pleased you received my message. I have moved but am only one mile south of my previous home. Although I am not ready for another dog, please keep me in mind for an “older” dog as I’m approaching 66 this fall. Bella, Beau and I had walked two miles daily but that sadly did not extend her life. I have a fenced yard again. My Beau (WH Fox terrier rescue) misses her occasionally; I miss her 24/7. Dale

No response to email or phone about Lucy, may 2014
Lucy loved the car and was a good passenger on both rides! She got so excited when I got the leash out yesterday and started to prance around. She wants to ride shotgun but would for easier where there is more room.
I haven’t tried her on stairs, but we can later. I have to keep her and my Welsh separated so neither has run of the house. She does like to relax on the couch, but takes some time getting her back feet off.
She is a sweet girl.
