I’m sorry that we cannot help with the transport. Jim was discharged from the hospital yesterday and has home hospice now. I know he would have loved to help because he truly loved being able to assist in any way he could. He loves Airedales!!

I would LOVE to foster Hunter, and we are really missing a dog in our lives, but right now between my job and Simon’s activities, we just aren’t right for a dog. We just don’t have the right amount of time to give to a dog, and when we DO get our next dog I want to be sure that we have time to be with him/her, go for lots of walks, etc. Thanks for thinking of us, though, and we have loved following Sassy on FB. We are so happy that SHE is so happy!

Subject: Sassy Update and New Airedale Question
Hi Mary
First, wanted to let you know that Sassy is in her forever home! She moved last weekend to a lady in Fuquay Varina, NC which is near Raleigh. It’s the perfect home for Sassy. I performed the home visit and I arrived earlier than I needed and I drove all of the streets to make sure it was a good area for her. She has some perfect 1 mile walks in her neighborhood – and she does that 3X a day!
We have a new boy in rescue who is named Hunter and he is 8.5 y/o. We need a foster/foster to adopt home for him. He was neutered on Thursday (Today!). He is HeartWorm positive so ARG will treat him for this (involves a 3 part series of injections). We want to get him into a foster home so that he gets stronger and healthier – he was not fed well, needs to gain lbs. Would you and your son be interested in fostering? Hunter has been around kids from age 8 so we know that about him. Please think about it – would love to know if you all would be interested.

Dianne has a new female Airedale named thatcher
She is a Gerardo dog. She has an agreement with Gerardo for breeding and thatcher may be pregnant even. She still has Lil Bit who is 35 lb terrier mix white fluffy dog. 3/28/16
