Heather said its been at least 3 years since she has seen Jasper.
she worked a lot with him when he was a puppy
She did private; She did some day training
Owner could not keep up with exercise for Airedale Terrier
– Trainer taught him to walk on a treadmill
Trainer said that owner does not understand dog behavior at all
she had the wackiest reasons of why she does things
Trainer said when she was with him – nice dog, energetic, required exercise, good with dogs, hyper
Michelle bought him as a puppy. (trainer does not know breeder but recommended that we ask)
Trainer thinks in a d ifferent situation, he will be fine.
Used to walk well on a leash, walked on a tread mill, listened to commands
Went to a day care so she thinks get gets along with other dogs
Separation anxiety – she did not think the S.A. was like the dogs was hurting himself but he needs consistency, exerciseHeather has been listening to the same stories that you have for months and months. She said there are some crazy stories. Heather kept telling her to surrender.

Subject: adoption of Airedale late springHi there-this is Joanne and Karl Kinscherf. I’m sure Christine notifyed all that we lost our sweet Lucy this summer to cancer. We aren’t ready to adopt again yet but if an older dale(bout 6 or older) comes to you around springtime we might be interested in adopting. If you can keep us in mind we would appreciate it. Thanks Joanne
September 7, 2021 at 1:31 pm in reply to: Private: 2022, 2016 Daisy, Female-Spayed, Asheville NC Surrendered in 2016 and 2022; NO KIDS, NO DOGS!!!! #280479/2021
Jesse and I had a baby a year and half ago. Ever since then Daisy has been very distant. She use to cuddle with us and want to be around us but now she mostly lays alone and goes to her bed at night instead of cuddling. This is sad but not the problem. In this same period of time she has attacked our Welsh Terrier (Duggy) three times. Each time when my teenage son was present. He had to scream bad throw furniture between them to break them up as Daisy just won’t stop. The 2nd time Daisy caused Duggy to be at the vet over night a huge scar on his neck. Daisy attached Duggy again today. It seems to happen when her pray reflect is going. So a ground hog or cat has been the same hat has prompted the attacks. But we just cannot have dog fights in our home with a small toddler. Not to mention Daisy just does not like the toddler although she has never done anything but growl at the toddler. I have not called a trainer because I don’t know if they can do anything for a reflex issue. We just don’t know what to do about this. We are strongly considering giving Daisy back to ARG which breaks my heart, but we are open to other ideas.I responded:
Hi Katlin, Have you talked to your vet about medications for Daisy? Does Daisy have any health issues – sometimes thyroid or something else can cause a change in behavior. I talked to Pat Hairson who does ARG volunteer with me. (Jackie is out on medical). Pat said her Airedale started distancing herself when she started to have heart issues. An airhorn would be helpful to startle the two dogs if an incident starts, also watching for body language such as staring eye to eye at Duggy. I understand your concern with a toddler in the house and safety. I fear the same issues would be the same in another home for Daisy though. Those are my thoughts – I would discuss the medical concerns with your veterinarian as the first option so you can keep Daisy. On Sunday 9/5/21 I asked Hollie if she would foster/adopt Propane who had failed at Leah’s home. Hollie responded yes and she and her boyfriend drove to Cumming, GA and picked up Propane, now Murphy from Leah.
Murphy is doing well at Hollie’s. Hollie said she works from home so she will be able to train Murphy for house training.
Murphy needs neuter – ready for contract

Piper and Rocky seem tight. I’m so pleased. I was not apprehensive was worry the 2 nights Wyatt Mac. and Piper got into
It. After they both spent 2 nights in crates
They sorted their issues. It was also the first time I’ve ever did anything like this.
Having rescued 2 Airedales I had no idea
What picking up from Humane society would be like. Seeing Piper in that shape
Tore away my heart. But like any feel good book… I love happy endings.Leah took Propane/Oliver/Ollie home on 9/4 from Samantha’s foster home. Abby has not done well with him – had several accidents in the house and created a hot spot. Leah said she is not able to keep him. Asked Samantha if she could take him back. Told Leah that her main priority is Abby and we understood.
