Hello ARG Volunteers –Please let me know if you receive this and if there are any corrections to phone numbers!
Thank you for helping to transport Zog on Saturday Dec 3 from White Pine, TN to Montgomery AL! Zog is a young ‘dale – just 10 months old! He is going to a very loving home, and we know he will do well in his new family. Zog is a good car rider, he’s about 60 lb. Also he has a known birth defect with a deformed leg – it does not slow him down!
Safe Travels and I will be available for any questions.(919-605-4563) Let me know when you’re safely back home! Pictures are welcome but safety first!
Safety:
Regular safety – please ensure that you are aware of Zog when opening car doors, transferring him from person to person, always making sure a hand is on the leash. Unless necessary, remain in car until transport transfer occurs; when opening car doors, ensure that the leash is secured by hand on the leash; when allowing potty breaks – ensure that collar/leash(s) are tight for no escape; be aware of surroundings – even a plastic bag in the wind may spook a dog in unfamiliar settings. Do not let him off leash at any time. Double Leashing is preferred if you have a slip lead to bring along for your leg of the trip.
Do not feel the need to walk Zog outside if you arrive early. Sitting in the car will be fine for him. (If you have a water bowl, please bring it so he can take a water sip between cars to keep him hydrated).
PLEASE USE YOUR CHILD LOCKS so that Zog cannot accidentally open a window or door! (It has happened!)White Pine to Sweetwater 1.5 hr – Nancy Harr

November 13, 2022 at 1:15 pm in reply to: Private: 2022 Nicole Ciano- Montgomery AL PREVIOUS ADOPTER Adopting Zog (now Bub) and Feisty. #29913Hi Christina, I don’t know if you saw my FB post but we lost Addie to kidney failure. I’m absolutely devastated. I don’t understand it and it’s so painful. Our house feels so empty and just… sad.
I don’t know if I can deal with the pain of losing Addie and RJ as well as not having any furbabies here to distract me from the thoughts of RJ and Addie taking their last breaths in my lap. 💔 Layla is heartbroken as well and is already asking to find us two more furbabies.
I’m writing you to see if there are any rescues or fosters that need homes right now? I’m looking for a boy and a girl. We would like younger Aydays if possible. Layla wants to experience the puppy stage. I told her I wasn’t sure if any rescues had puppies for adoption but I would try to get two that are as close to a puppy age as possible.
Any assistance you can provide is always and greatly appreciated. We just miss them so much and I think I need this more than anything right now. It’s been a really rough year. 😔
