My name is Christina and I’m a volunteer with Mary who you spoke to in the phone interview. The next step of our process is a home visit and we have an Airedale volunteer named Paige who will help ARG to do this. Paige has been an ARG volunteer for many years and owned an ARG ‘dale. Sadly, she is without a ‘dale right now but she owns Wire Fox and Welsh Terriers – very impressive terriers!!!Will the two of you determine a time that Paige can come to home visit you. Paige lives in a nearby town and will come to your house so the two of you determine a time that works well.

Some good news: Alfie & Pearl’s play this morning has been better — much less dangerous.Partly may be Pearl more at ease, but also perhaps due to Alfie finally responding enough to contain Pearl.
We will see how it goes for the balance of the day.
We would very much like for Pearl to fit-in.

Despite some periods of relief, Pearl is still very aggressive with Alfie.We will wait until Friday, but high probability we will not want her to stay here.

2. If not, I will hire a service to deliver her. Please provide the address where we should deliver Pearl.

I want her out of the house ASAP.
Either arrange to have her picked-up, or give me an address & I will have her transported.
3/30 6:04 AM – Christina responded that we started as soon as they let us know it would not work for Pearl we were looking.

Our day-care can take her this morning, ’til you have her picked-up.She will NOT spend another night in our house.
But in 2 hours, we will check with one person whom may be able to driver her from here.

I will not discuss anything.
If you don’t provide an address in NC, I will drop her at any nearby dog pound.

hi Michael- ARG will call the daycare and arrange for payment and boarding (Do they have over night boarding?).
We do not have a volunteer/foster yet to pick her up. We have been working on a solution but until we have one, the best place will be for her to board. I promise, we are working on it and someone will get her but until then we just need to pay for her to overnight. A lot of times we cannot move a dog until weekends, when people can drive.
Thanks for your help to get her to daycare. As Jackie stated, we have don’t need to get her back to Charlotte.

Day care will give rescue dogs 50% discount.
But I want her to go to a home ASAP, so I will not give you name of boarding, until you have specific info as to whom/when.
If I don’t hear specifics, the owner said she would driver her to NC tomorrow. That will be fall-back position.

Touching base regarding our home visit with the King family this past weekend. We were able to meet with them on Saturday afternoon and spent about an hour at their house. They showed us around the house and their backyard and we talked all about the nuances of adopting an Airedale. Sending over our evaluation, we definitely think they would be a great family for a rescue dale. Please let me know if you have any questions or want us to fill in any gaps in the evaluation.

My name is Christina and I am a volunteer with Jo-Anne for Airedale Rescue Group. I wanted to intro you to Melissa Vogt who is an ARG adopter, Airedale owner and ARG volunteer. Melissa and her husband will home visit you which is the next and final step in the ARG adoption process.Will the two of you all determine a date/time that a home visit can be done. The ask is that all of the Kings are at home for the home visit 🙂 so that we can meet all of you. I know that is hard to juggle with work, school, kids, life! hi Melissa and Jeramiah, ARG needs help with a home visit in Raleigh NC. The applicant lives in the same zip code as you all! 27617. THe applicant is interviewed, references check – we just need a physical meeting/home visit. Would you be willing to do this for ARG. Ideally on weekend when everyone in the family can be present.Let me know, if you can, I’ll send an intro note to all of you.
