I’m not sure if you received my last email, however we are running into nothing but issues with our new home, now we learned when the fence was about to be installed that the sprinkler system has an entire section that isn’t even on our property and one link of the underground line isn’t even connected. I can’t begin to express how frustrating this is, So once again another delay while the builder has the landscape installation company correct the problem which is to dig up and move and repair. I won’t even get into the issues we are having with the house itself.
I had no idea having a fence installed could turn out to be such a big problem. Had I realized this was going to be such a hurdle to jump over I would have waited to apply for adoption. I really thought we would have been able to get a fence installed within a few weeks not months. We are very serious about adoption which is the reason for the fence installation in the first place, I just don’t want you to think we are just being flakes.
I do appreciate your patience.Thank you

June 15, 2023 at 7:00 pm in reply to: 2023 Margaret (Peg) Tomb, Adel GA, Good Fence, ADT Exp, 2 dogs (1 ADT), 1 Cat #30717I visited Peg, yesterday. She was very nice and definitely is all about her animals living their best lives. I have a few things going on this week, but will get the checklist completed most likely by Tuesday.
I definitely would have no problem leaving my dog with Peg! It is very obvious that her animals are her top priority. She was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed meeting her and her precious animals! Her entire lot is fenced in. She even has a gate that has to be opened to let cars in and out of her yard. Let me know if you have questions! Paige Price paigestill@ rocketmail.com

June 8, 2023 at 4:33 pm in reply to: 2023 Jeff Wiseman, Cheraw, SC, fence, terrier experience Adopting Delilah 7/2023 #30695Hello Jeff Wiseman and I spoke this morning. Pat has also spoken to him.
Notes:
Single, wife passed away in 2020
He is retired UPS; she was a nurse
Also has a cabin in Virginia
lives in historic area of Cheraw – he mentioned he lives in a famous trumpet players former home
he enjoys antiquing.
He interviewed 3 veterinarians in Cheraw area before setting on a vet
uses Heartguard preventative
Dogs sleep with him
Current dog, Yorkie, is 16 years old
good diet – current dog has only 5 teeth so he makes rice and chicken for him.
fenced yard
he volunteers at various places in the week – church, boy scout camp, native plant society but I would not worry about a dog being neglected w/ him.
He is also looking at Welsh dogs – Curly XXX in Virginia, a reference by Cathy B, is reaching out to a breeder who is down sizing
He says he will apply.I propose that between Pat and my discussion, he does not need an interview
2023 Molly called claire to let her know she knew of an AIredale surrendered to AHS.

Subject: Airedale Transport Lenoir NC to Canton GA – meeting location Greenville, SC on Sunday 4/23Hello Doug & Danielle
Thank you for helping to transport Blue on Sunday April 23. This is a bit unique in that you all will get to meet in person – I think this is such a nice hand off and beginning for Blue. Safe Travels and I will be available for any questions.(919-605-4563) Let me know when you’re safely back home! Pictures are welcome but safety first!
Transfer of Items – Danielle, Doug will be there to help you transfer items, help with Blue. He will bring his truck for the crate to fit into it.
Safety:Regular safety – please ensure that you are aware of Blue when opening car doors, transferring him from person to person, always making sure a hand is on the leash. Unless necessary, remain in car until transport transfer occurs; when opening car doors, ensure that the leash is secured by hand on the leash; when allowing potty breaks – ensure that collar/leash(s) are tight for no escape; be aware of surroundings – even a plastic bag in the wind may spook a dog in unfamiliar settings. Do not let him off leash at any time. Double Leashing is preferred if you have a slip lead to bring along for your leg of the trip.
Do not feel the need to walk Blue outside if you arrive early. Sitting in the car will be fine for him. (If you have a water bowl, please bring it so she can take a water sip between cars to keep him hydrated).PLEASE USE YOUR CHILD LOCKS so that Blue cannot accidentally open a window or door! (It has happened!)
Meeting Time: 1:00
Location:
Residence Inn by Marriott Greenville, 80 Carolina Point Pkwy, Greenville, SC 29607
Doug 770-378-2348 (drives bronze/brown GMC truck)
Danielle 828-713-7511

Their fence was about to be installed that the sprinkler system has an entire section that isn’t on their property and one link of the underground line isn’t connected. She is so frustrated – with everything but the Airedale side of it – it delays her again.

They did not let two dogs meet. Virgi said that her home is nice, one story home. Fenced yard. Nice walking trail. Her dog is walked often, more than she uses the back yard. She does use crate for keeping dog safe. She would like to foster to adopt. WOuld prefer a female ‘dale. I’ll let her know she is approved.
