6/30 Wrote BL asking about Tatum.
June 22, 2014 at 9:42 pm in reply to: Private: Michele St. Ores – 9/2020 in Cookeville (was Murfreesboro) #13814She called me today.
Asked about Nemo. I told her he had been placed.
But that we consider her an approved applicant, so keep an eye on website.
6/24 She called again. She asked if we had taken her off our list. I said no, we had not.
She wanted me to look at a photo she had seen on Facebook of a terrier in IL. What did you want me to look for, I said.
Did I think it had some terrier.
I suggested looking into wheatons as they are a medium sized terrier.
Barbara, I thought I replied to this but Chloe says I did not. We are happy to welcome Airedale’s in need of rescue to our home. Let me know if you need anything else ! Thanks

Subject: Chloe
Hello,
As you know your daughter Chloe has applied to be a foster mom for one of our airedales should the need arise.
Because she is a minor, we need parental agreement that this is agreed to by the family.
Just a quick email back will suffice.
And if you have any questions or concerns about our process, I would be happy to provide any information you need.
As you may know, Airedales are prey-driven, and some do not care for cats. So we would need to keep that in mind for a candidate to hang out at your home.
Look forward to hearing from you. Like we say, reel them in young, and they will be rescue fans for life………..

Looks like a go for Clyde. Meeting set for Saturday 11 am ish.
Cynthia called 6/10 to say she and her husband are “both over the moon” with excitement.
BL put Cynthia together w/ Barb Saylor to speak about Clyde.
BL put Barb and Cynthia Scott together to speak about him 6/9/14
I just met up with her today, on Sunday evening.
Faith is a very pleasant lady.
She already has two sweet huskies, one about 7 months and the other a full adult.
They seem very well taken care of.
Her home has a fenced yard, though only the front edge has a 6-ft tall wood privacy fence.
The remainder has a 3-ft tall chain link fence.
She reassured me that the dogs are only in the yard when she’s there and usually to play for an hour.
The home is in a slightly poorer part of town, but she seems to take care of her place reasonably well.
I think she’d make a good candidate to adopt on of the ‘dales.
Cheers, Vojin
George Chace called after home visit. Husband was not home, but she called him while George was there.
He thinks she (they) would take good care of an airedale. He brought Beo with him, she had asked, and did not seem alarmed by his size. George said Beo was on his very best behavior.
His opinion is that they would be best matched with a 55-65 lb female. Mr prefers the smaller, Mrs the larger.
He was glad they had previously had an Airedale, and she spoke fondly of him.
He was concerned about the no fence, but she was very earnest that he/she would never be outside alone or off leash.
I will move to approved, and inform Cynthia.
George Chace called this morning and will contact Cynthia and arrange for home visit.
Their Beo, who is even bigger than Toby, is doing well. 95+pounds, a couple more than when they adopted him. He said 1 1/2 years ago; I thought longer ago. We talked about the early days after he said “are you glad we took him?”
He was truly a huge wild child at first, and after a week they thought they would have to return him. But they were about to travel to Mozambique, and boarded him and had him in training with a trusted friend of theirs. A month later, he was a completely different dog.
Phone interview 6/5
The 13 yr old Scottie, Andy, she mentions on app died two days ago.
Answered my no fence reservations to my satisfaction. Always out on leash, frequent walks.
Has always had dogs from puppies in the past, but decided to explore rescue this time.
She seemed to think all rescue dogs come with “issues.” I think I satisfactorily addressed that misconception.
Says no preference m/f, but probably prefers F. She thinks males mark in the house.
Smaller preferred. Her previous Airedale died many years ago when she was a teenager.
Despite what I took as some cluelessness in general, I quite liked her.

Called owner Kathleen. She found a home for them yesterday. Together. She thanked us for our time.
They recontacted 5/31/14 re Peyton & Lincoln:
Greetings,
My wife and I were approved awhile back and we are interested in Peyton & Lincoln who are currently available.
We live in East Tennessee but I will be in Atlanta this coming week on business where Peyton and Lincoln are located. Could you arrange a visit for me to meet them?
Thanks,

Hi Barbara,
They got a glowing report from their vet’s office. They said they were great pet owners and do everything that is needed for their pets. Up to date on everything.
Have a good week-end!
