Hi Jo Lynn
I am sorry that I am just responding but I wanted to respond to you – thank you for helping your son’s family with Lulu and taking her to rescue. She is in safe hands with Cyn and going to her forever family on Saturday!
Quick questions- do you know?
1)Has Lulu been around other dogs?
As far as I know, she has not been around other dogs.
2) Is she house trained?
Definitely NOT housetrained; always been an outside dog. 3) Any destructive or behavioral issues?
She chews everything, including the wooden fence.
But, in her defense, she was crated more hours than she EVER should have been, so when she DID get out, she was desparate for whatever activity she could find to do.

Good in crate
fair to horrible on leash, practicing every day
quite a ball catcher and returner, good for agility or speed ball?
howls at night, ugh, I let her go on
Erin told me on wed at work she wants to get a trainer, not sure this is the right dog
in my opinion, not my call ellie needs:
young people, single who walks runs or couple of same activity, very strong on lead
absolutely recommend a yard for running off energy daily
bity face not for small children at all, working on biting me or chewing me
not for another dog right now, bites on back; could be terrible consequence
cannot have rugs in crate chews may choke getting special bone at pet smart
She is quite a handful. Probably needs several daily walks, plays ball like crazy but so much
energy it would take me all day to wear her out. 🙂
She is doing ok for a wild child. She had a run in with my male dog today.
I feel she can be an only dog. No socialization for those her size or
smaller. She is dog aggressive through the crate, through the window in the
door when the others pass by on the porch. Wildly biting the cage to get
to the other dog.
She loves to play ball and will burn off energy three tines a day in the
backyard. Her biting is bothersome and she would not be appropriate for
small children as she doesn’t know to let go of my arm. leg or hand.
Luckily my hand was in a glove when she got me today.
She is a Velcro dog and will bond with man or woman. I’m
not sure she would be safe with your girl. They could never be left
alone especially in a yard or house. She loves to run and play but
she would need to be in a muzzle because she is bitey.
Jazz has been declined because mix dale. She was seen on our website as a mixed dale as a 10 mos puppy, now she is age 5. She was adopted through humane Society in tn. I posted her to mixed dale ARG site and promoted on fb, referring back to the surrendering owner 1/2014

My son is 6 months and she does GREAT with him!!! She loves him so much. She is very gentle and the most she does is lick his toes 🙂 which he loves! Stella would do great with kids! Especially kids that are a little older that could play with her. She loves to play and fetch. So kids who can run and play with her would be great. Stella is a jumper when she gets excited. So she may need some training on jumping. We have tried but have not given it a full effort to stop it. But its only when shes very excited and just wants to give kisses!

Hi Ashley – thanks for your response. Great to know she does not require a foster home. We have them….but its best for Stella to have not as many changes. I’ll look for the form and see what questions I have. How old is your child? Does Stella do well with children?

Hi Christina! Thank you so much for getting back with me. I will go ahead and fill out the form and get that done. It is not necessary to put her in foster care. We can care for her until a family is found. We have no problems taking care of her, unfortunately since having our first child we just do not have the time she needs. She is an energetic dog who most days sadly gets left at home with no one there. Then when we get home from work its all about the baby. We hate to do this because she is so sweet but I feel we can not give her the best life possible. She needs to have someone to play with and give her more attention than we can. I would be glad to talk to you about her if you need to. Whatever helps her to find the best possible home. Thank you so much for your time!

HI Ashley
I am a rescue friend of Laura Kjeldsen and I wanted to talk to you about Stella, your Airedale. I am with Airedale Rescue Group, our website listed below in my signature. We would love to help you out with Stella and find her a new family. ARG finds new homes for Airedales in need and we have so many awesome families who adopt from us. I know we could find a family for Stella too. Our applicants go through a very tough application review process. The applicant is interviewed over the phone; we perform a physical home visit and we check vet references.
The address is 2000 Stock Creek Rd. Knoxville TN 37920 Do NOT use Google Earth or Siri GPS. Here are directions:
Directions to Cyn’s Waystation
From Knoxville and I40 east, take Hwy 129 aka Alcoa Highway toward airport. From the middle of the bridge over the river, it is 10.1 miles total. It will be 4.5 miles until your first turn.
Follow Hwy 129 south and watch for signs to Hwy 168, Governor John Sevier Highway. It is a left exit. Take 168 East (the only way you can go there).
Go 3.5 miles to the first traffic light. There’s a gas station there. Turn RIGHT at the gas station onto Martin Mill Pike.
Go 1 mile. Turn RIGHT at Bonnie Cate school to stay on Martin Mill Pike. You will be following signs to Library and to Stock Creek Baptist church.
Go 1 mile. Turn LEFT at Stock Creek Baptist Church onto Stock Creek Road.
Go almost 1 mile. You will see a gravel driveway and an old barn on your right. There is a small blue marker that says 2000 and a yard sign that say ARI in big black letters — very hard to miss. Pull in and park next to RV but please don’t part on the grass — if it has rained at all, you’ll get stuck
