Trudy, hi, I have a really lovely five yr old female at my house. Very sweet. Loving. She loves people. She tolerates my dog Tuna but she is more interested in me, every move I make. She crates in day. My daycare comes by and picks her pm for play dates. At daycare, she is fine with all dogs. Her surrendering owner did did tell me that she is not ok with cats. Would you be interested in Ruby. Thanks

Hi Trudy and William
Jo Ann Case and I have talked about Sunday and we are so thrilled to move you to an approved applicant! ARG is so lucky that you all are interested in adopting a ‘dale. Next steps is to find that ‘dale for you and one that Molly approves of course too. Please keep an eye out on our website and of course we will be evaluating each dog that comes in to be a match for you. If you have any questions – please reach out to us.

Liked them very much
She said she’d leave her dog Ivy with them
Only comment was ” Just make sure whoever goes to live with them is tolerant of small dogs Molly was a little snappy at first.”

Hi as I was looking at my Porter notes, I saw this. How is he, did the antibiotics get rid of the parasite?

Sad news…Porter had his follow up vet visit this morning. Blood test showed he still has the blood parasite (same one that killed Zasha). Good news is when they did the deeper scan, his platelet count was normal. We’ll monitor every six months–other than that, not much can be done.
Vet said some dogs just can’t get rid of it…even with strong meds. She said if he starts acting “lethargic” to bring him in. I said…what if lethargic is NORMAL? ha ha
Take Care…

Hi
Here is their info
Their vet check reference has been done and they are wonderful.
Jackie cash interviewed them and she thought they were good too
We have a home visit check list – let me find that on my other computer and send to you.
Overall – would you feel comfortable leaving your dog there. What’s your ‘gut’. I think of the time when I went to a HV and they were first time dog adopters but they were not ready (at least for an Airedale!). Kids leaving doors open and Mom said, ‘ that just happens with kids’. You know, things that happen when you actually meet a person
Thank you!

A home visit is the final step in our ARG process for an applicant. We’re not looking for a white glove dust test! JoAnn will come over and meet with you and your husband and meet you and she would like to see your yard and fencing; where the dog will sleep; where the dog will stay while you are away (crate, inside house).
Thank you so much to both of you.

Josie
I have completed an application to adopt- Deborah K Jones, Conover, NC.
My husband and I would like to know if you think that Josie would want to live with us.
Our Airedale, Martin, was 8 in March and he plays well with our neighborhood dogs and our grandpups- 2 Bichons and 1 Belgian Malinois. Martin is neutered and has a microchip. Does Josie get along with other dogs? I hate that she is having to go through treatment. We have a wonderful group of vets, a master groomer and a professional trainer to help if we adopt a rescue.
Our home phone is 828-464-4683. Thanks- Deborah Jones
