Called Adam on 4/6/21 – follow up to email about ARG puppies. Told him it was time sensitive to respond
home visit suggestion Sara Bentley, Brevard – close to Pisgah Forest. I can ask Sara to HV if Susan moves to that step.
Of course, Sue Taylor is our best Pinehurst person for home visit but I thought it might be good to ‘share the wealth’ and ask another pinehurst person to help. I noticed Merry Garner – Vass NC would be close. Sometimes, its good to have another person involved and leave Sue for escalation in the area. Just a thought!

Safety:
Regular safety – Unless necessary, remain in car until transport transfer occurs; when opening car doors, ensure that the leash is secured by hand on the leash; when allowing potty breaks – ensure that collar/leash(s) are tight for no escape; be aware of surroundings – even a plastic bag in the wind may spook a dog in unfamiliar settings. Do not let them off leash at any time 😊
COVID safety – please apply COVID to your safety. We ask that you wear a mask when meeting your transport volunteer. One example may be for Transport Driver to get the dog out of their car and the other transport driver unlock the car/access for the dog to their car.PLEASE USE YOUR CHILD LOCKS so that Charlies cannot accidentally open a window or door! (It has happened!)

(919) 605-4563pat laneese will do home visit. Aske Joe and Ryan if they will be home on 4/6 as Pat has dr visit on that day in that area of town. If not, she will come back another day to do it.
Spoke to Tracey about Bruce (has killed cats). They declined. They want a smaller ‘dale. Their River ‘dale (ARG) is perfect (she is smaller). Their trouble spot is the ‘dale/doodle male who is strong and a bigger dog. She also has a lot of feral cats around her.
Offered Bruce Airedale to the Spatz’s however they had to decline Bruce because of two neighbor outdoor cats.
3/27/2021 – Patti called me this morning to let me know that Trudy passed away 2 weeks ago. She was 11. Patti LOVED this dog so much and said she was the sweetest dog ever.
Patti ended the conversation saying you know I’m in my 70s now but I cannot be without dog so I will be calling you in a few months. She said she will need petite and age 5-6 ish. Patti is a walker; lives near a dog park in her neighborhood. Patti is very social with her friends so needs a friendly dog. Patti and her husband had adopted a sweet old dog named Lamb before they owned Trudi.
