We got back with Liam about 40 minutes ago. Everything went OK at the Shelter. I have paperwork of his treatments and chip placement. He definitely looks like an airedale.
He is very wild and has no manners. Will let you know how it goes over the next few days. He is not mean or aggressive, just big and wild. He needs grooming, but I think he is too wild to take anywhere right now. Nice looking dog, just wild. Good medical report from the shelter.

Nancy could not take the dale from Forsyth because they have family coming into town with small kids. I asked several fosters for help and could not find anyone for him to hold him/foster while their company was here. She let us know this morning that she will be getting a puppy

She does move about the entire home at the moment because we don’t have a dog. When we are not at him we keep her secluded to one area of the home.
In the past, when we first adopted her from our son, we kept her separated from our Yorkie because the Yorkie was not good with cats. Out last dog was the sweetest and she got along fine with the cat until the cat ate the dog’s food and he was not happy. We atill were able to keep them together -they worked it their territory.
We can keep the cat downstairs if need be since we have the room and the dog could be upstairs, would prefer not but it is a possibility

Hi Georgia – Thank you for your patience as we went through our application process. Hollie enjoyed meeting you for the Home Visit and thinks you all will be excellent Airedale adopter! I wanted to let you know that you are approved! We will now begin the process of finding a ‘dale for you. One thing I wanted to clarify with you – does your cat live in one area of your home or have your ‘dale and cat always gotten along. Its hard to know if a ‘dale is cat friendly and we err on the side of – not cat friendly.

If an owner comes forward between now and the 12th I will let you know, but otherwise we will plan to see you on the 15th 🙂
