HI Christina
Phil and I did the home visit with Kamila and Ed Ott yesterday. Do you need the physical evaluation form returned?
We have no hesitation in saying we think the Otts would be good adoptive or fostering candidates. We spent about an hour and a half with them talking about Airedales, pro and con. I would feel more comfortable if they had a fenced yard but I too kept our first Airedale on a leash until we put in a fence. They are located in a nice small older subdivision. Their house is approximately 1700 square feet (Zillow) and Kamila showed me a small bedroom that they would consider turning into the dog’s room. She isn’t pro crates, as she thinks of them as jails but her husband has a different view, either way I think they will reach a compromise. Kamila had many good questions and she took notes on answers. I told her I would be happy to answer questions if she thought of additional ones in the future. Kamila also expressed an interest in possibly fostering.
Let me know what else I need to do and if you need me to send you the evaluation form.

Hi Christina,
Thanks for reaching out to me regarding this Airedale advertised on FB. My husband and I have been rethinking getting another dog right now after considering Liam. We have been taking care of our grandson more frequently and with having an older cat, we think maybe we should put getting an Airedale on hold. We are afraid that our cat may not adapt well at this age and that maybe having a large dog with our grandson isn’t the best idea.
Thanks for your help and we will get back in touch when our situation changes. For now, please take me off your list. Thanks for all that you do to help the AIredales.
