Hello, James & Maureen. If you are ready for a home visit, Christina is ready to accommodate you. We suggest Covid-19 precautions: masks, keeping a safe distance inside & outside, not touching (no shaking hands), and Christina not touching any surface in your home. She would just need to be shown around inside everywhere your Airedale would live and outside in the yard where your Airedale will spend some time with you.
We may have an Airedale that would be good for you. Reply all to let us know if you’re ready.

Louisville, TNI barely got their names out of my mouth before the woman who answered the phone said, “They’re phenomenal.” They’re up to date always on vax, current on HW and flea/tick preventative. They love them and they’ll make great Airedale parents! They also love Sandy Sutton and said Sandy will love them.

Jackie, some very sad news. We had to say goodbye to our dear sweet Bowser today. He had been doing great after his surgery and in fact had an excellent follow up visit on Monday for his last melanoma shot. This morning, he was frisky and feeling fine, but suddenly during his morning meal, he refused food and had a very depressed attitude. We took him immediately to the vet. Diagnostics showed he had gone into shock from bleeding in the abdomen; vet thought it was likely a ruptured tumor. It was either emergency surgery, which would’ve bought him 1-2 months more, or euthanasia. We think we made the right choice for him, but we are still devastated. I know that our previous Airedales Hector and Sadie are welcoming him. Thanks for the gift of Bowser; he gave us so much joy while he was with us.05/15/2020: Via Messenger:
Carin: Hey Jackie! Carin from South Carolina. I didn’t know you knew Cyn. I’ve continued to think about an Airedale but my sweet mutt girl has continued to be up & down with kidney issues. Completely supportive of your mission. Love what you are doing!!JC: So nice to hear from you, Carin. I’m sorry your pup is still sick; is it a beagle-mix? I’ve got all your info still but haven’t looked it up. Yes, Cyn was a very early member, along with her mom Anne Woods, now deceased, of ARG. Cyn has always had greyhounds and her mom had ‘dales. She has helped us tremendously over the years. I’m glad you’re keeping up with us. Let us know when you’re ready to adopt an Airedale.
Carin: Cyn was why I got involved with ARG to begin with. My first transport. No it’s not my beagle but our old mix. She’s around 15. She does well for a while then not so good. Just trying to make her comfortable & loved!
06/05/2020: Remy will go to Cindy Green for evaluation week of June 8.

06-05-2020: Jaye has decided not to adopt at this time, as her nephew’s girlfriend and her 5-yo daughter are in the home a lot and bringing a dog in at this point is not a good idea.
June 5, 2020 at 1:54 pm in reply to: Janea (Jaye) L. Green, Winston-Salem, NC, ADT exp., former adopter, 4-5 hr alone #24910Jaye has decided that now is just not the right time. Her neohew’s girlfriend and her 5 yo daughter are at her home a lot, and she doesn’t think bringing a dog in right now is the best idea. She told me to take her off the list for right now, but she’ll be back when she’s ready
