09/23/15: Per Christina, Laree is very ill and is waiting on a heart transplant. She would not be available to help foster, etc.
September 22, 2015 at 2:49 pm in reply to: Private: Erin Jenkins Charlotte, NC August 2015_Nigel RB 2.2025 #1308709/22/15: Erin has declined fostering Bowser. She emailed 09/21/15:
Hi Jackie. Our fur baby, Dasher, courtesy of ARD is cuddling next to me. We are a bit gun shy after our incident with Lulu/Ellie and Sassy. We are gone many hours a day and I worry about our Dash and sweet Bowser. If we were without pup, I think we might welcome Bowser.
I can’t tell you how much we love these dogs. Is there a financial contribution we can make for Bowser? Let us know!
Regards. Erin, Jamie and Dasher.

08//12/15: She has asked about fostering Bowser. Need to find out a little more about him before we do the deal.

JC wrote back and said we’d keep her in mind for a youngster.

04/10/15: I spoke to Lauren about fostering Champion. She has a 4-year-old Airedale, Addie, and 2-1/2-year-old and 6-month-old children. But, she said she’d talk to her husband Tyler this weekend and see what he thought. He’s an orthopedist – how perfect. (We last offered them Woody!) He might be very interested in Champion’s recovery. She wants to talk to the surgeon if they decide to do this to see what kind of care he’ll require. I’ve got my fingers crossed!
03/18/15: Called Melissa and left voice mail to see if she can foster Tory.
She called back and is going into the hospital today to be induced for her second child. She said in a week she would feel like fostering! I don’t think so – not with a 21 month old daughter and now a tiny baby. Anyway, she’s willing!
2/15/15 (or thereabouts) They did not want to keep Sir Winston. He was adopted by Daffney Shelbourne.
