06/04/18: Jenny Esler called jmc and she picked up Judah from vet and opened her hatch and he jumped right into the crate in the back of the SUV!
She bought a Martingale collar but said we don’t need to reimburse her. She’s going to let him run around in her backyard today and see if she can tire him out. She’s excited.
06/02/18: Jenny Esler & Howard Kittell will foster-to-adopt Judah. They will pick him up on 06/04/18 from Caring Hands Vets.
Molly had to take him in Thursday because of his diarrhea – he had messed his crate during the day Wednesday and overnight Thursday. She has been very stressed and he has had to stay too much in his crate because he can’t be trusted with Po.
JMC spoke to Caring Hands and they believe his diarrhea is mostly anxiety and they have prescribed Xanax for him, but Julie at Caring Hands said she doesn’t think Molly has been giving that to him. They can’t prescribe more (for Jenny to pick up) because they just prescribed 60 on May 24th and I guess Molly has them. They will give her a couple of Ace Promazines and some of the GI food for his stomach.
Jenny is retired and home all day so Judah will have plenty of attention and exercise. She said he reminds her of their previous Airedale Max who was a wild child and could be aggressive to cats and other dogs. She is not a big believer in drugs for dogs, but I suggested VetriScience’s Composure if she wanted to try it.

05/31/18: Over the last 2 weeks, jmc has communicated with Jenny Esler re Judah. She went to Molly’s home to meet him and liked him, but wasn’t sure. Molly said she didn’t particularly like a couple of comments that Jenny and her husband Howard made about training – send him to boot camp – and the fact that he was their only option right now.
Last week Jenny asked if they could try him out and I told them we could let them foster him for a while. She then asked if they could just get him for an afternoon in their yard. I plan to tell her no on that. They will need to commit to foster him and then if they don’t want him, we’ll find another home.
On 05/30/18: Molly advised that Judah had had diarrhea in his crate and all over him and she needed to take him to her vet to board.
On 05/31/18: Molly said he had diarrhea all night and she is taking him to the vet.05/31/18: Stephanie sent message on our web site re Judah and that she and her husband were traveling from GA to Nashville May 31-June 3 and would like to meet Judah if possible. I explained that we need first to have a telephone interview then home visit, but if possible I would arrange it.

Good morning, Colleen. In going through our applications this morning, I noticed that I had not contacted you since Cathy sent your application to us. I apologize. Hi Jackie! Flooding all around us, but I have not been personally affected. Expect for a terrible case of cabin fever. Waiting for the sun to shine.
I had my knee surgery April 30 and getting around pretty well now, although not driving yet. Keep me on your list and by this fall I should be able to think about a dog again.
Hope all is well with you, yours and the doggies – Sara-

Subject: ARG Home VisitHi Jackie,
I wasn’t sure if you were aware of the Garveys’ changing/postponing their minds about adopting right now. This is the email I received yesterday from them:

Hi Caryn,
Thank you for contacting us but we’re going to hold off on a rescue for a while. We have decided to go ahead with some house renovations and when completed we are going to plan an extended trip.
If we have changes to our plans I will get back in touch with you. I suspect we won’t want to be Airedaleless for too long.
Regards.
