03-25-21 I offered Sammie to Shannon & Frank and they were very interested; however, they have a vacay to Mexico in mid-April so now would not be a good time. Keep them in mind. Nice folks.
03-24-21: Spoke to Jada Cruse. They are not going to adopt or foster right now because they have a 1yo female ‘dale and plan to breed her and then keep one of her pups. She got this dale and her previous 2 from an AR breeder Tina-someone and it’s taken her 15 years to talk Tina into letting her breed. She was very nice, very country, but very likable. I told her we’d keep her on our list and to get back to us if anything changed.
03-24-21: JMC called but their voice mail was full. Sent an email to do 2nd interview and asked them to call.
03-24-21: They can’t take Sammie now bc they’re spending April in FL in a home that is not pet-friendly.
03-19-21: Joe Thomas may be interested. We need her med records. Vet’s office 1-423-928-7272 is closed Sat. pm.
03-20-21: Tracey & Rob were interested in either Pinkerton or Sammie and went to visit them this week at WGAC. They liked both of them and noted that Sammie was rambunctious and very friendly and gave them kisses. Pink was skittish but after a few minutes warmed up to them. They have not made a decision and understand that we must offer the girls to others.
03-20-21: Sammie was picked up from Gentle Care Animal Hospital and delivered to Walnut Grove Animal Clinic on 03-16-21. She was SPAYED on 03-19-21.
Sammie is a very people-oriented Airedale, very sweet, who wants to give kisses and be close to you. She will be a velcro dog perhaps. She is about 70 lbs, could lose 2-3 lbs; she’s a curly-coated girl, and loves everyone. She is reactive to other dogs on leash and did okay in daycare at WGAC, except she had to be put back inside bc she was harassing the smaller dogs. I would like to get an opinion from Chris or Jessica or Chaney about her in daycare.
Tracey & Rob Haynes were thinking about her but have not made a decision so she is available.
03-20-21: Pink was picked up from Gentle Care Animal Clinic on March 16 and delivered to Walnut Grove Animal Clinic 901-323-1177.
She and her housemate Sammie are boarding there and both were SPAYED on 03-19-21.Pink is beautiful – tall, thin, dark coat, long legs; but she’s skittish and a bit timid. She does warm up after a few minutes, but pretty much stays tail-tucked, at least at the vet’s office when JMC or potential adopters Tracey & Rob Haynes went to visit.
Both she and Sammie are reactive to other dogs on leash. Pink played well at day care on Day 1 and had a good time. She will be fine with an owner who shows her she is safe and loved. She probably would do best with another dog, but does not have to stay with Sammie.
03-17-2021 Addie took Charlie to Pet Paradise, Camp Creek (Atlanta Airport) 1-404-333-0738, on Monday or Tuesday. JMC tried calling the facility this morning but couldn’t get to a person or way to leave a message. Sent email explaining that ARG is responsible for Charlie and asked for them to call me or provide a time (and number) for me to call them.
