Silly Girl…you under estimate the power/will of TRUDY! There is no Airedale that can match her stamina and ability to annoy! Even at 100%, Ellie Mae will be powerless to keep up with Trudy!
Yes, they thought she had some type of infection (Bryan wasn’t clear) so thus the meds. We’ll let you know the cost.

No worries and we’ll pay you back. Sorry it did not work out. Some vets take the cc# over the phone in advance; some want to call back when the charges are complete, etc.
Send me your address please? I know that Bay must have it but to speed things up.
Antibiotics? White blood cells? Is that infection indicator?
I bet she’ll feel a lot better in a day and she has those meds in her system. Watch out!

Well…they called Barb and did not get an answer so Bryan paid for it. We can scan and send to you. Said there were white blood cells around the area and gave her an antibiotic. Of course had to do the “check” to see if there was anything else wrong. Total was around $171.00.

Barbara Yager called it in. I think they took her name & number and will call her back when Bryan & Ellie Mae are checking out to pay
No worries on estimate unless it starts to turn into something unusual. I would say a regular UTI/analysis/diagnositics – that is routine and no need to estimate, just get it diagnosed and drugs. Thanks for taking her in.

July 26, 2012 at 11:42 pm in reply to: Private: Alistair in Brunswick GA shelter Airedale Golden mix #12744more info on him–he LOVES MEN–all the guys at the airport he would just wag his tail and try to get them to pet him ( most times succeeded) He has a golden loving personality and the spunk , inquisitiveness, and a very secure personality of a Airedale
shakes, will be great walker ,just need a little help on his leash manners.
A very wonderful dog.
He has gained weight this week. Last week you could SEE HIS RIBS, now you can feel them ; has been eating 4 cup in AM and 4 cups in PM.
I used the furminator on him for about 1/2 hr and took a bag of old hair off him.
He is a very NICE GUY , just a very little refresher and he will be a supper gem.
Do not know his story; but someone has love him very much at one point in his life.
We sat outside the airport when I was brushing him–no fear at all when the planes were taking off; did not even blink.
He will be a wonderful addition to any family.
How was his plane ride?

July 24, 2012 at 1:04 am in reply to: Private: Lucy Z, Girl dog found in Daleville AL Now Tilly Tarpley #12725Hey Barb,
Just went to check on Miss Lucy and snapped some pics of her with her new hairdo. She is a happy, happy girl to be rid of all that hair and cute and sweet as ever. She is more than ready for full time loves too. She likes to be close and hugged alot.
I called Zach and he is in New York until July 30th. I called an another housesitter I use to use, until she got the full time job and she is on vacation also. Tis the season. Do you know someone down there that could get the new baby to the northside of Montgomery or even Birmingham, because I could get that far easily. Keep me posted on where she is and I will keep my eyes open for someone else.

Hi Craig and Chris,
Thanks for the update. Craig, I hope you are recovering each day.
Would you let me know when she is groomed. I’m going let the Tarpleys see her and decide.
Problem is that HW treatment is over five months; I guess I should have asked their
method but I will ask Tarpley’s if they will bring her back and forth.
Also we still have extra girl in either Bates and Centerville not sure exactly.
I’m looking to get her to you next week. I will let you know how that goes.
Do you happen to know if Zachery is around this week? He is bad at answering
the phone and email. 🙁
Thanks for all you are doing for Lucy Z.

Hey Barb,
Just updating you on little miss Lucy. I took her yesterday to get her stitches out from her spay and we started her on the first phase of heartworm trt. In true ‘dale fashion it is hard to tell there is anything at all wrong with her. She is excited about anything or anywhere new. She is the perfect lady she sits on command and stays pretty well. She is very good with other dogs and anyone that comes up to her, she greets with enthusiasm. She is being groomed today( which is good because she is really smelly). She is a little hoarse from barking at the kennel but seems to be happy there. She is a jewel, which I have probably told you a million times already. I have mailed all her receipts to you that I have so you will have a copy of all. We will go by next week and maybe get more pics of her, but I suspect they will have to shave her down. Hopefully, they can save the face. Thanks and we will keep you updated.

7 year old Airedale Terrier. (Largest of the terrier breed.) She is a great
dog and companion. She loves people, unsure if good with small children as
she has not been around them much, but we do have small grandchildren and
she is fine. She is such a happy girl and needs a great home. UTD on shots,
spayed and housebroken. Reason for giving away. Going into fulltime misson
work overseas and can’t take with us.. If you can give her a great home.
Call 252-508-1119.
